Postage Update
We continue to work hard to fulfil, process and post your orders in these unprecedented times with limited staff, and delays being experienced within the postal services around the globe.
Please allow a few more days than those detailed for your items to arrive before contacting us. Your patience and understanding is very much appreciated.
All time-scales for delivery listed here are approximate and may change at any time without prior consultation.
Postage Options
Postage is calculated for you at checkout once you have entered your postal address.
Postage is picked up Monday - Friday from all couriers. Any orders placed at the weekend will be physically picked up on Monday. This is also the case on bank holidays, the parcel will be physically picked up on the next working day. During Christmas there is always a non pick up period which we will endeavour to keep you updated on each year. This is (in all cases) the couriers decision not ours.
UK Postage
We use the Royal Mail, DHL Express, Parcelforce or UPS for parcels over 2kg for our UK customers.
International Postage
The Etches Collection is able to post internationally to all countries across the globe!
Please do contact us in advance before placing your order so that we can provide a cost estimate on postage to your location.
SHIPPING PRODUCTS FROM THE PREMIER COLLECTION
Within the UK - Shipping costs within the UK have been included in the sale price
Outside UK - If you wish to ship this product outside the UK please contact info@theetchescollection.org BEFORE you place an order as additional shipping fees will apply.
Products from the Premier Collection will be shipped by our third party shipping agent Fossil and Gemstones on behalf of The Etches Collection Museum.
By purchasing from the Premier Collection you agree for your contact details to be forwarded on to our shipping agent who will contact you direct.
Missing Packages
Whilst rare, parcels can go missing in the post. We cannot issue replacement orders until 30 working days after dispatch for the UK and for EU & INT. This is because we cannot claim from Royal Mail until this time.
If an order does not arrive, we always recommend asking the customer to check at their local post office and confirming their address before contacting us. Please also note that we must be notified within 30 days of when the order should have arrived. After this time we cannot replace any orders free of charge.
Delivery of large/heavy Items
The delivery costs on large/heavy items may be revised, as export mailing costs cannot be accurately determined until the point of dispatch. If additional payment is required you will be contacted to discuss if you wish to proceed with the order and if appropriate, to take the payment.
Customs
When ordering goods from The Etches Collection for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination.
Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.
Additionally, please note that when ordering from The Etches Collection, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
We would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Delivery times can be affected due to packages being inspected by customs.
