Kronosaurus belonged more to the marine reptile family than to the dinosaur family. It had an elongated head, a short neck, a rigid body propelled by four fins and a relatively short tail. It had many long, sharp and conical teeth, which were very useful for catching its prey. It was one of the largest marine predators of the Lower Cretaceous.
